It’s all going down this weekend in Seattle! GeekGirlCon is happening, and the PDX Broadsides are a part of it. Here’s where we’re going to be:
Friday October 9. Hard Rock Cafe Seattle: 6-8pm Kick-Off Party/8:30-10:30pm GeekGirlCONcert – 5th anniversary party at the Hard Rock Cafe Seattle, with fun and food and whatnot, followed by a double shot of NERD. We will be playing first, followed by Thundering Asteroids! (with Christian on drums). Prepare for some cross-band collaborations. Get your jams ready to get kicked out, nerd music style!
Saturday October 10. Room 303: 4:30-5:30pm PDX Broadsides Acoustic Show – We’ll be playing a 50 minute show during the con, so if you missed out on the kick-off party (and why would you do that), you have another opportunity to get nerdy. (schedule may say Women in Nerd Music: Redux, but it’ll be us!)
Sunday October 11. Media Signing Table: 11am-12pm Signing and Merch – Whee! We’ll be at the signing table to say hi to people and sign stuff! There will be CDs and t-shirts available if you’re interested in that kind of thing. We’re not tabling, so this will be your best chance to get merch!
GeekGirlCon is a fantastic place for people to geek out and see some of their favorite things. It’s super-inclusive and you belong there. Come and see us!
