“Something’s Rotten” CD Release Party!

CD Release Mini Poster

It’s time! We’re having a party, and you’re invited!

The CD release party for “Something’s Rotten” will be 7pm Saturday August 27th at the TARDIS Room. We had a release party for “Aim To Misbehave” there last year, and everybody had a wonderful time. This time we’ll be able to take advantage of their new back patio area, with permanent seating for the audience. It’s going to be very cool.

The show will be from 7-9 (so that people under 21 can attend), but come early, because starting at 6 we will be playing music from a curated Spotify list filled with goodness. Hang out with us, grab a drink or a meal, and relax before showtime. It’s like being backstage only better.

One of our special guests that night is Caitlin Weierhauser, an amazingly funny standup comic that we’ve seen all over town. She’s done a bunch of festivals and events, and you’re going to love her. Find out what her solution is for the terrible bridge traffic here.

In addition to the comedy, we’ll also have magic! Mathias, the Charming Cardist, will be performing his feats of prestidigitation before your unbelieving eyes and cries of “warlock!” You may have seen Mathias at the Harry Potter-themed “Fantastic Feasts and Where to Find Them” event, where he knocked ’em dead and then just moved the headstones.

We’ll be bringing out some brand new music for you in our first set, including songs that no one has yet heard! We’re still working on some of these, so you know they will be very fresh. Then in the second set, we’ll do the new album in its entirety, start to finish. Just like the big bands do when they have run out of new material, only we are getting the jump on it!

Yes yes, the PDX Broadsides bring you variety and top notch quality! We’ll have copies of “Something’s Rotten” for sale, before the official August 30 release date, as well as new stickers and NEW T SHIRTS! Yes, many new things for you.

We’re looking forward to seeing you all and sharing our new album with you! RSVP on Facebook
