“Something’s Rotten” Song Reveal #1!

It’s official: “Something’s Rotten” is off to the presses! Thanks to the folks at CD Baby, we’ll have physical albums and digital availability on iTunes, Amazon, and more, in addition to our standard Bandcamp setup. Once we have a confirmed arrival date, we’ll announce a release date, open preorders, and tell you about our party to celebrate its arrival!

Since it’s on the way, here’s a peek at not one but two of the tracks on our new album: the title tracks!

SongList 1

That’s right, “Something’s Rotten” is split into two parts on the album, but form a complete story. The first part is Hamlet’s Lament: we meet Hamlet (Christian), who bemoans how harrrrrd his life is, YOU GUYS, no one UNDERSTANDS. He has to make so many DECISIONS and wouldn’t it be easier if he just had to deal with the problem his friend and girlfriend have instead…you know, the whole being dead thing?

In the second act, Ophelia’s Retort, Ophelia (Hollyanna) and a sassy Yorick (Jessica) react to Hamlet’s self-centered whining. Sure, things suck, Hamlet, but you know, it could be worse. They know how bad it can get…but they’ll make a suggestion on how to “fix” things.

What other songs do you hope are on the list for the album? Stay tuned for more reveals!
