Our last show of December was the most Christmassy of all. We decorated the stage and dressed in our finest Christmas Morning pajamas.
It’s the most wonderful time of the evening.
Nine Christmas songs were added to the set, including Sorry, Wrong Star and Joy From The Deep. We also had three different holiday songs that were Doctor Who-based, for some reason: Santa Has A TARDIS, The 13 Doctors of Christmas, and Auld Lang Syne (Should Old Companions Be Forgot). We really took the holidays as a songwriting theme challenge, and each of us came up with some great stuff.
If you made it to one of our five (!) December shows, we thank you kindly from the bottom of our hearts; you make all of this even more fun than it already is. If you weren’t able to come see us, you will have ample opportunity in 2015. Our new (and as yet untitled) album will finish being mixed in the next week, and then watch out.
