Holy moly, we’ve been fans of Night Vale for EVER, and we’re so excited to be the musical interlude for this episode. For those who may not know, this song is on the album “Trust Issues”, and the first song on that album is called “The Weather” and is about Night Vale!!!!!! That’s how you know we are serious. Tremendous gratitude to Joseph Fink and the whole crew – we’ll see you when you come back to Portland!
Other News
We’ve been kinda busy recently!
Last month we played a private gig as the poolside entertainment for the 2026 convention of the American Association for Nude Recreation, which was a real blast! No pics, obvs, but we provided a three-hour set for folks who were so kind to us. It was a lot of fun, and we hope to work with them again.
THEN, last weekend we (Jessica) put together a 5-hour festival of Pacific Northwest Nerdy Music in the parking lot of Mike Bennett Studios. We had The Faithful Sidekicks, Sunnie Larsen and Friends, us, and Mollylele, all playing our hearts out for a great crowd. Many thanks to Jessica for putting it ALL together, and to the PDX Guild of Geeks and Books with Pictures for helping to sponsor it!
So much fun, y’all. Such great people to play with!

And, you know, some stuff will be happening in 2027 for the PDX Broadsides, which will include MUSICAL GUEST AT BALTICON 2027 in Baltimore MD, and TOAST-BAND FOR OHIO VALLEY FILK FESTIVAL in Columbus OH… so it looks like we’ll be all around the country again next year!
We have so much new music that we’d love to share with you, so keep your eyes and your ears and your toes open.
